Play reverse clubs. It’s really funny to watch. I don’t mean turn your clubs backwards, I mean go through your clubs in reverse order. For instance, start with your putter off of the tee, then your sand wedge, then a short iron, etc… The only exception is that you can always use your putter on the green, so you don’t mess up the greens. I also sugest being drunk.
I have a couple for ya
1. Points Game
1 pt for fairway
1 pt for GIR
1 pt for scramble par
1pt for sand save par
1 pt for GIR par
3 pts for birdie
5 pts for eagle
10 pts for ace or double eagle
At the end of a round you compare a few categories:
1. Best Score
2. Fairway Points
3. GIR Points
4. Scoring Points (pars, birdies, scrambles, saves, etc.)
5. Total Putts
You can weigh each category differently if you want. Whoever wins the most categories played best. A great way to track your individual game and gamble with your buddies.
2. Press Game
At anytime, before any shot in a round you can “press” any person in your group. A “press” is a match play wager from that point on.
For example, hole #1, Jim presses Mike for $5, before his tee shot. There is now a $5 press for the remainder of the round, match play. Jim wins hole #1 and goes +1 on that press. Now Mike is -1 on that press, and presses Jim for $5 on hole #2 before Jim’s tee shot. Now there are (2) $5 presses in play. (1) that began on #1 and (1) that began on #2. Presses can be made only if you’re behind on a press. For example, if Jim is +3 on the first press and +1 on the second press, he can’t press Mike. Mike on the other hand is -3 on the first and -1 on the second and can continue to press Jim however many times he wants. I’ve been in a game where there were as many as 5-10 presses made by each player. Gets a little crazy keeping track, but you make a few bucks if you get on a roll. It’s all match play, with handicaps if need be and the game works with a foursome.
Heres a game. Play a round with out a set of clubs. Woods, Irons ect. It’s hardest if you don’t use wedges.
Match Play
texas scramble , dice scramble, red white and blue.
