Ideas for creating an engaging in-class math game?
I need to present a game in order to help my (high school precalc) class review a lesson. All members of the class must be actively participating (i.e. if there are teams, each person must be constantly involved), so a fast paced game would be good. I have done bingo, jeopardy, and basic board game type games in the past… any new ideas?
The unit is on Dilations and Translations, if that helps at all.
Thanks!

We played a game where everyone gets a number but you cant show it to anyone.
the teacher writes all the numbers on the board. then calls out a problem and calls on someone to answer it. they have a certian amount of time depending on the difficulty of the problem when times up they have to answer if they get it wrong they have to erase their number off the board. they are out ( cannot win ) but can still answer. However if they get it right then they call out a number and whoevers number it is is then out ( this is why they need to keep their numbers secret ) at the end who evers number if is left wins. but anyone can answer the question through out the game even if they are out…and if you wanted to be sure they were doing the problems you can have them write them down and always attempt to work them and turn the paper in at the end for a participation grade…
Everyone in my geometry class loves this game and we have also played it in history its really fun.
