What games could I play in a grade eight buddhist presentation?
I am doing a grade eight buddhist presentation, in social studies. We are given a thirty minute block to teach the rest of the class about the religion of choice. I have chosen buddhism. We have about 15 minutes of information, and two game ideas. The game’s we do play have to do with the religion (buddhism) or helps refresh memory about what they learned during out presentation. So far, we have about five minutes of question-and-answer period (hand’s out candy to right answers), and we also have a password type of game. In the password game, a male and a female stand infront of the class, facing the class and we write a word related to buddhism on the board. The classmates then have to give one word clues to their own gender to help them guess the “secret” word. Do you have anymore ideas on games we can play to help teach buddhism or help review?
Note: We cannot do bingo, because we have a group performing before us with that game, and we do not want to seem like we are copying. Full stars for an idea, and game details.
Thanks!
